Bhool Bhulaiya is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Priyadarshan. It is the official remake of the 1993 Malayalam film, Manichitrathazu. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, and Vikram Gokhale. The film's film score and soundtrack were composed by Ranjit Barot and Pritam respectively, and the lyrics were mainly penned by Sameer, while Saeed Chaturi wrote a song. The film received universal admiration and was also a huge commercial success. Subsequently, the film also achieved Sanskar's status in the Hindi cinema. Vidya Balan's performance in the film is still considered iconic and is considered one of the best.
